School-Aged Programme

All children have the right to communicate, learn and have fun.
Our School-Aged Programme offers child-led, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming therapy for children who may be struggling with their learning or experiencing behavioural challenges. Designed to prioritise each child’s well-being and quality of life, the programme focuses on teaching functional skills in a fun, interactive way. Therapy sessions are individualised to suit the unique needs of each child. Delivered by trained therapists and overseen by psychologists, sessions can take place at home, school, or our specialist centre.
What do we teach?
While each programme is individualised to meet the unique needs of the young person, here are some common skill areas we focus on:
Communication & self-advocacy
Social relationships
Self-help, community & safety skills
School participation
Cognitive & academic skills
Behavioural challenges & emotional regulation

How does it work?
One-to-one therapy sessions are tailored to young person’s individual needs and are delivered by trained therapists, with design and oversight from psychologists. Sessions can take place at home, school, or our specialist centre, ensuring flexibility and convenience for families.
Our School Age Programme is designed for families who can commit to at least 2 x two-hour sessions per week.
